Thank you for taking the time to check me out. My name is Nicholas Chaffee, owner and operator of  Dynamic Services. I am a third generation pool service person here in Sacramento. I claim fame from my two influences, My father Michael Chaffee, who builds custom swimming pools in Sacramento, and my grandfather, who is retired today yet started the tradition in the Los Angelas basin back in the 50’s.

The family

Background: When people call me for the first time, they often ask me “What do you mean by ‘Co-Co’ Founder?” I will usually tell them (and obviously you as well Mr./Mrs. reader): “My title comes from being a 3rd generation Swimming Pool Service Person, and a wealth of knowledge at the same time.”

My Grandfather: Gerry Chaffee started swimming pool service in the Los Angelas Basin “way” back in 1950’s. In fact to give you an idea of how long ago this was, they didn’t even know about black algae yet (Pool Service Joke, because black algae takes a long time to appear)… I know not that funny, but still a nice chuckle.

Since my grandfather began the tradition in our family it was only right for him to give me the Pool Service 101 course.  At a sprite age of 14 my Grandpa had already established an “easy” route that he condensed in the Sacramento area, they were “easy on the back” and only required a “mild day of labor”.  Since many of these hand selected clients knew him since the beginning they of course loved meeting me while working with him at the same time to see if any of his good nature rubbed off. We would get water, treats, and sometimes a hand shake or two. Of course if your are reading this far, you see that it sounds like a delightful day, but you would have guessed wrong. Why you ask? Well the average day would began at 5 am and the end of our day, we would get lucky before nightfall (I blame my grandma for this). To my Grandpa THIS was an easy route. None the less it was a great learning experience for me because it showed me the “Standard” level of service that I feel I uphold today.

My First Day: Once training was complete I began taking classes in pool safety, pool chemicals, and overall pool management. The classes were simple only because I trained with the best. Of course I passed all courses with perfect marks and after completing those courses I decided to take root for the long haul, here in Sacramento. I later became quite the self proclaimed pool expert, a good start I’d say, to Dynamic Services.

The Field: I cannot lie in my biography it just wouldnt be right, so I will begin with one fact: Many poles have flown out of the back of my truck. This is no surprise to me today, considering they are made of metal, and they prefer to lay calmly in the middle of roads as opposed to in the back of the truck beds.

Poles were not the only casualty of my swimming pool wars. Gallons, Powder, even Hard Acid has spilled in my truck bed. Yes it is true I may have spilled more chemicals in my truck then most janitors use in cleaning an entire high school.

Dynamic Services Matured: After many mistakes and thousands of life lessons, I have gained many friends and what I would like to consider family. I believe this ability stems from turning any situation into a positive one, After all I believe that a swimming pool should never be a source for grief, rather provide only a large lake of enjoyment.

My Motto: I offer quality pool maintenance at an affordable price. In my line-up I provide: Residential Service, Commercial Service, or if you prefer, just Chemical Service. Overall I pride myself in being “customer oriented,” with a special emphasis on the quality of my work. Addressing any concerns you may have, I feel 24/7 promise should only be an option, any pool, any reason, I answer my phone 24/7.
